VIOLIN TEACHING

Based in Cirencester, I teach across the Gloucestershire & Swindon areas. Lessons at the student's home can be easily arranged. My violin pupils range from school-age to adult.  If you are a beginner you will not need a violin at the first lesson as I provide one for you to try out.   Remember too that whatever age you are, it is never too late to start.

If you are parent and are wondering about what your child might gain from learning to play a musical instrument I have some thoughts for you here.

I teach the classical violin (including the ABRSM grades), but if you want to branch out into improvisational styles or folk then I am very happy to help develop your abilities in these areas.

My current students range from young beginners through to Grade 8 and beyond.  I am passionately committed to creating an enjoyable and positive learning environment for all of my students.

If you are thinking about starting to learn the violin you may be concerned about the cost of violins and how to choose the right violin.   Don't worry, I can give you help and advice so that you choose the best violin you can afford.

If you want to find out about the other musical activities in which I am involved click the links to the left.
